Our history

Founded in 2015, Watch Next Media is a production company specializing in animated TV series. Watch Next Media develops and produces ambitious, meaningful series that aim to entertain children and people all over the world. Year after year, we have expanded our scope to enrich our editorial catalog and control every step from conception to exploitation, to guarantee the quality of our programs and keep costs in check.

  • 2017 : Creation of La Factorie, an animation and post-production studio located in Paris and, since 2020, also in Lille (northern France).
  • 2018 : Launch of Kids First, an international distribution company – wholly-owned since 2021 – to guarantee the best possible exploitation of our programs.
  • 2019 : Acquisition of a stake in Je Suis Bien Content (JSBC), a service studio and awarded production company, to enrich Kids First’s catalog and diversify the production activity with animated feature films.
  • 2020 : Creation of Animato, an Italian subsidiary founded with producer Elena Toselli, and opening of an animation studio in Turin in 2021.
